The TDSB offers elementary students the opportunity to learn a language other than French and English through its International Languages program and an opportunity to learn about the history, culture and contributions of peoples of African descent through its African Heritage program. Currently the TDSB offers the opportunity to learn 52 different languages including the African Heritage program. These programs are offered After School or on Saturday mornings. If you know of families with elementary school aged children who may be interested in this program, please encourage them to go to for details on the programs available and the time and location of the classes.

Please note that parent/guardian/caregivers will need Ontario Education Number (found on report card) to register online.

Parents/guardians are required to pay the $20.00 materials fee at the time of registration. Parents/guardians may also register after classes begin.
